Chargers Start Military Fan Club
Posted by Larimer Associates on 9:52 AM
The Chargers will be starting a military fan club for San Diego. Fans
can pay fifty dollars a year to receive many benefits including
discounts and merchandise. A portion of the proceeds will go the Armed
Services YMCA. This is a great way to support our troops and our
favorite football team.
The San Diego Chargers were expected to launch a military fan club today — a first in the NFL — in conjunction with AT&T and the Armed Services YMCA.
All Chargers fans can enroll themselves in the so-called Bolts for
the Brave club for $49.99 a year, according to the team’s website.
In exchange, club members will receive a personalized membership certificate and welcome letter, a Bolts for the Brave “camo” ball cap, Bolts for the Brave velcro patch, Bolts for the Brave dog tags and a 15 percent discount at the Chargers Team Store located at Qualcomm Stadium.
A portion of the money raised from club memberships will benefit the Armed Services YMCA.
